Dr. Neal Patel attended The University of the Pacific accelerated undergraduate and dental program directly out of high school. This prestigious program is considered one of the top dental programs in the U.S.
Following dental school, Dr. Patel began working in private practice in Northern California. He was the full-time managing dentist at a local practice, after which he came back to Connecticut to join his father. To better serve his patients, Dr. Patel has also completed the renowned Columbia Implantology Curriculum.
Dr. Patel has had a lifelong passion for the field of dentistry. His primary clinical goal is to provide gentle, comprehensive dental care to every patient in our community. Dr. Patel grew up in Danbury, Connecticut and enjoys spending time with his family.
When he’s not serving his patients, he enjoys spending time playing squash and tennis. During his time in California, Dr. Patel was also an avid hiker.
Dr. Jagat Patel attended Government Dental College in Ahmedabad, India. He then furthered his studies at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he completed the International Dental Doctoral program.
Dr. Patel came back to Connecticut in 1990 and began working in private practice in the Danbury area. After working for a local private practice, he opened up his own office in 1991. He has been serving the Greater Danbury area ever since and has many long-term patients.
Dr. Patel loves to give back and serve his community. He founded the Indian Association of Western Connecticut and served as its President from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Patel is still involved in many community events. During the 2004 Tsunami, he started a relief fundraiser that raised over $50,000 for aid to the tsunami victims. Dr. Patel was recognized by the City Council of Danbury for his service during this crisis.
Dr. Meera is our pediatric dentist at Dixwell Dental. She grew up in New Jersey and attended Rutgers University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health.
She went on to complete her Master’s in Science in Oral Biology at New York University. She continued her dental education and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and completed her training in pediatric dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry and Bellevue Hospital.
Dr. Meera’s ultimate goal is to ensure that all of her pediatric patients have a positive experience and enjoy attending dental visits.
Dr. Meera would like to foster a long term relationship with her young patients and spend quality time to accommodate each family/individual’s needs at every appointment. When Dr. Meera isn’t helping kids maintain healthy smiles, she enjoys hikes and exercise with her husband, spending time with her family, and exploring new restaurants and is always up for new recommendations.
Dr. Rohan Joshi completed his dental training at University of Connecticut School of Dentistry.
Prior to that he attended Tufts University where he majoring in engineering with a minor in music studies. When not taking care of his patients, Dr Joshi loves spending time playing and creating new music!
